Starting today, January 10, 2024, the lack of a CPF may prevent access to essential services offered by the consular network abroad. The Embassy is monitoring the persistence of incidents on the southern border and is engaged in providing the necessary guidance to the community.
- If you are not in Lebanon, avoid non-essential travel to the country.
- For nationals who do not deem it essential to stay in Lebanon, the Embassy recommends considering the precaution of leaving the country until it returns to normality.
- For nationals who deem it essential to stay in Lebanon, avoid residing in the southern part of the country or traveling to that area, especially to border areas.
- Follow the safety recommendations of local authorities.
- Reinforce precautionary measures, especially in southern Lebanon.
- Avoid participating in gatherings and protests.
- Stay informed about the current situation in the country and follow the communication channels of the Embassy (WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter, and the website - see the addresses below).
- Check if your passport has at least six (6) months of validity.
- Make sure you have a Brazilian nationality document (such as birth certificate) and/or a valid Brazilian or Lebanese identity card.
- Keep all your registration data updated with the Consular Section of the Embassy.
